Marzemino is a black Italian wine grape variety primarily grown around Isera, south of Trentino. The wine is most noted for its mention in Mozart's opera Don Giovanni. A vivid ruby red wine with purple undertones, it has a complex aroma of woodland fruits blended with violet fragrances and excellent fruit concentration on the palate.
